The rumor Apple watch 7 happens, but it would be rare at launch, and the laptop’s improved display would be the culprit for the production delays.
Apple will announce the “Apple Watch Series 7” in its usual September location alongside the new iPhone 13 series, according to Bloombergis Mark Gurman. But some models may be shipped late or in small quantities:
“I’m led to believe we’ll see an announcement at the regular September event alongside the iPhone, but there will be a mix of models shipping late or in small quantities. those who witnessed the original launch of the Apple Watch in 2015. “
Previous report manufacturing difficulties had sparked speculation that Apple might delay the announcement and release. But it looks like the iPhone maker is opting for a forced deployment instead.
Apple Watch Series 7: details and launch
The Apple Watch 7 is expected to bring the most significant redesign since that first model launched over six years ago (yes, it’s been so long).
It would have a larger screen, dropping from 41mm and 45mm to the current 40mm and 44mm. The screen should also come closer to the surface of the watch glass using a new layering technique. Apple Watch 7 would also include flat edges and an updated processor.
Combined with the typical demand for updated Apple products, the new Apple Watch would likely be hard to find initially. During the First generation Apple Watch Launching in 2015, pre-orders sold out quickly and availability was out of stock for months before Apple’s supply chain finally caught up with demand.
Apple would have planned at least one virtual event in September, introducing the iPhone 13 with the new Apple Watch. Other products expected for 2021 include AirPod 3, a new iPad 2021, an update iPad Air5, a iPad mini 6 and a refreshment 14-inch MacBook Pro.
Given the historic calendar of Apple events, the Cupertino company could send out invitations for the iPhone event from this week.
