“Call of Duty: Vanguard” Zombies takes players to an undead infested Stalingrad

Ahead of its November 5 release date, we saw previews of The vanguard of Call of Duty Single and multiplayer components. On Thursday, publisher Activision shared a new trailer and blog posts that offer a first look at the game’s upcoming Zombies mode.

Developed by Treyarch, the avant-garde Zombies mode is linked to the Dark Aether storyline established in Black Ops Cold War. A year after suffering a decisive defeat at the Battle of Stalingrad, a Nazi officer named Oberführer Wolfram Von List discovers a mysterious artifact that links him to an entity called Kortifex, allowing him to summon an army of undead. It’s up to you and three other players to fight through the ruins of Stalingrad and stop it.

As you play a match and complete objectives, you will find items called Sacrificial Hearts. You can gift them to an Altar of Alliances to access random upgrades that will change your playstyle. One of these upgrades will reload your weapons while they are in their holster, while another will allow you to transform weapons. zombies as temporary allies.

Any experience you gain while playing Zombies will count towards the avant-garde Batte Pass, which also shares progression between multiplayer and War zone. The mode will also support cross-platform play between different consoles. As mentioned above, Avant-garde launch on November 5. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.
