Don’t expect anything major from Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event

Just a few days ago, Samsung announced that it would be hosting an event October 20. Given that Apple has an event scheduled for the 18th, Google for the 19th, it seemed like Samsung was hoping to steal some of the show, but it turns out the company’s event could be a bit of a letdown.

In a teaser video the company released, it looks like this event might just see the company reveal new color options for its foldables. The video itself is titled “Get Ready to Unfold Something That Definitely Looks Like Yourself,” suggesting it has something to do with foldables and customization.

The video itself also shows a group of cute little aliens working on a computer screen showing off different color palettes, again leading to believe that the event will mostly be about showing off new colors for his phone. We’re not sure if the new color options really justify a full-fledged event, but we assume that’s Samsung’s prerogative.

Anyway, we should have more details next week, so check back with us on October 20 for updates on what Samsung will be announcing, but until then maybe don’t expect to see or hear something major.
