The best gear and gadgets for travelers (2021)

I show You how To Make Huge Profits In A Short Time With Cryptos!

It has finally happened: we are allowed to travel again. For the first time in months (or years for some), we can travel to meet family and friends.

For me that means finally getting back to the UK without having to go through an expensive quarantine. For you, that could mean something a little different.

But we probably have one thing in common, especially if you’re reading this: we both love Things. And, more specifically, you probably want to find the best amenities and gadgets for travelers available today.

And folks, you’ve come to the right place.

To help you on your trip, I’ve put together a list of the best essential gear and gadgets for travelers in 2021. To make things easier, here’s a list of what to expect:

Something to carry all your stuff

During normal vacation times, I tend to stick with carry-on baggage. But now that I’ve been away from home for a while, I needed something with more space, something to hold.

That’s why I went there for the Horizn Studios Smart H6.

I chose this rolling suitcase for several reasons. First of all, I’m a fan of hard-shell travel gear. Some people don’t like the way they are scuffed, but I will accept this compromise for the extra protection, thank you very much.

On top of that, I’m a big fan of the little details that come out of the Smart H6.

It’s totally vegan, has a compression pad to keep your shirts crisp, a laundry bag, and includes a rear battery to keep your devices full of juice.

Overall, it’s just a pleasure to use. It slides across the floor, fits in a lot and is a perfect travel companion when you need a little more space, but also something small enough to carry on crowded trains and cars. .

Easily one of the best amenities and gadgets for travelers in 2021.

A bag you can easily walk around with

backpack property

Now that you have all of your clothes and bigger ones packed in your rolling suitcase, you need something else: specifically, a backpack.

You might already have one – in which case godspeed, – but if you’re looking for something new I have to recommend one from the Amsterdam based company. Property of.

The company makes stylish and highly functional backpacks, bags and accessories that are both fantastic and durable. I am a convert of the company’s commodities and own several pieces of it. I haven’t been disappointed yet and consider their bags to be one of the best amenities for travelers.

Property of, forever!

Sound: beautiful and projected sound

best gear and gadgets for travelers: UE boom 3 bluetooth speaker

You might be wondering why the third thing on this list is a speaker, but don’t listen to that voice: he’s a liar. If a portable bluetooth speaker isn’t high on your agenda, are you even jamming?

Look, there are a lot of speakers I could have chosen here, but since its release the BOOM 3 has been an essential and beloved part of my life. It’s tough, sounds fantastic, and the battery life is still good after several years. This makes the UE BOOM 3 one of the best gadgets for travelers.

Really, I have almost nothing bad to say about the speaker.

But you have other options. If you are looking for something a little more elegant? So you can try the Sonos Roam. Rather a direct competitor? To try the JBL Charge 5. Cheaper? You could watch the Tribit MaxSound Plus.

But for my money, the BOOM 3 reigns supreme.

(BONUS: If you have plenty of room for your luggage and want a speaker that can power a party, the Anker Soundcore Rave Mini is both good value and a good time).

Sound: the kind that goes to your head

I have already written on the quality of noise canceling headphones when traveling, especially on an airplane.

My go-to headphones lately have been the Sennheiser Momentum 3s (which are still great), but these have recently been replaced by the Sony WH-1000XM4, which are illustrated above.

Look, both sets of these headphones are fantastic, but Sony models have taken the lead on this travel list for two main reasons – they fit into a smaller case and have better battery life.

I am also a fan of AirPods Max, but their high price next a case that makes nothing to protect the headphones does not make it a good gadget for travelers.

But the WH-1000XM4? An absolute dream. Friends, you have found that new pair of headphones that you have been looking for.

Sound: the kind that fits in your ears

Apple airpods pro and sony wf-1000xm4 true wireless earphones

You know what? I couldn’t choose between Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM4 – so I selected both.

Each of them has their own strengths, but AirPods Pro fit incredibly comfortably and are great when using a range of Apple devices. On the other hand, the sound quality and noise reduction of the WF-1000XM4 is ahead of their counterparts.

I really couldn’t choose between them. So they both win.

If you are looking for something a little cheaper and different, I also recommend that you think about the Nothing ear (1) too much.

Hydrate friends

best equipment for travelers: cold water bottle

Make sure you drink plenty of water while traveling, okay? And the best way to do that is to use your own water bottle.

For that, get a bottle of Chilly’s.

They keep whatever liquid you want hot or cold, are totally customizable and I love them. Dearly. And you too. Easily one of the best travel gear.

Keep that brain buzzing with words

best gadgets for travelers: kindle paperwhite

Alright… this one, I’m feeling a little weird.

Everything else on this list, I literally brought with me when traveling. I didn’t do the same with the Kindle Paperwhite pictured above.

Instead, I brought a few books with me (the mystical river and Wonder Boys, for those who care) and plan to buy more as I go. By the way, what am I saying? I have already bought several since I got here.

This is however a personal weakness. If I’m being honest, an e-reader is one of the best gadgets for travelers. For most people, the Kindle Paperwhite is the device of choice, but if you want to avoid Amazon’s evil, give the Kobo Forma a lap.

Me? I’m sticking to paper this trip, but that doesn’t mean you have to.

Something I brought was my iPad Pro, which is perfect for reading comics and magazines. A tablet could fill a similar void for you too.

Make sure you stay in shape

jumping rope

One of the first things to do while traveling is my fitness routine. This time around I tried to change that – and part of that approach was skipping rope.

I started this at the beginning of the year to try to reduce the pressure on my joints while running. I have since used two different skipping ropes, both of which broke.

Then i discovered Crossed rope. They make great equipment with interchangeable strings which are a pleasure to use. There is also a companion app, although I just did some workouts on YouTube.

Honestly, this is the best workout gear for travelers. Light enough to carry, yet twisty enough to help you shed those vacation pounds.

The other two essential workout gadgets that I keep with me are the Wahoo TICKR X heart rate monitor and my always reliable Apple Watch.

Of course, I also brought a pair of running shoes with me. I swear by HOKA as a brand, but I always go to a store and get advice on running shoes. Don’t buy them online if you value your feet.
Keep all those cool things loaded

Anker USB C charger, 65W PIQ 3.0 and GaN Type-C charger with one 45W PD port, 65W PowerPort III 3-port charger

One of my big issues with traveling is knowing which plugs and adapters to bring. Fortunately, I don’t have to worry about it anymore because of this wonderful little device.

Yeah, he has a terrible name – Anker PowerPort III 3-Port 65W Charger – but it’s the best gadget for travelers leaving today.

As the name suggests, it has three ports (two USB-A, one USB-C) and can output 65W in total. The USB-C port in particular can output 45W, which means it’s powerful enough to charge laptops. In addition to that, this range of removable plugs is a dream.

Basically this little Anker kit made my life so much easier. And for that, I salute him.

(PS if you are looking for a power bank, I also had good experiences with Anker’s gear. I didn’t bring any with me on this trip, as the Horizn Studios Smart H6 at the top of this article has one included).

It’s time to have fun

Teenage engineering op-1 monopoly deal hanabi beehive board games

It wouldn’t be a travel list if it weren’t for some fun stuff here.

First of all, the monopoly agreement. Yes, I know what you are thinking: the monopoly sucks. And you would be right. Corn Monopoly agreement don’t fear. It’s a fast paced card game that’s easy to pick up and has a lot of fun with, especially in a large group.

When it comes to other games that are easy to carry around, Hive is a great two player game. It’s like faster, simpler failures with bugs. I am also a sucker for Hanabi, which is a cooperative deck building game.

In other words, I loved experimenting with engineering OP-1 in teens. This portable synthesizer, sampler and controller is exciting audio gear that is great fun to use. I had a great time jamming on it on my travels.

So there you go, friends! A collection of the best equipment and gadgets for travelers. You are welcome.
